if you're walking 4 miles a day then just continue this till you reach your weight goal. walking is the best form of exercise, it's the best on your joints and bones and it's the best for keeping the weight off.

after you're recovery period and you've lost some weight you can add stretching exercises like side twists, windmills, toe touches..ect..

you might also want to try kundalini yoga, a good DVD to check out if your local area does not offer this type of yoga classes, is kundalini yoga with gurmukh which can be found on amazon.

just remember when you walk to lose weight you may not see the results you want right away, but just keep going and you'll be amazed one day how good you've done for yourself.
