it helps to store food 4 them when funn
Plants cells' vacuoles are used as the storage organelles. Animal cells have vacuoles, too, but plant vacuoles are much larger and provide structure to the plant cells.
The central vacuole of a mature plant cell typically takes up most of the room in the cell. The vacuole, a membranous bag, crowds the cytoplasm and organelles to the edges of the cell. The central vacuole stores water, salts, sugars, proteins, other nutrients, and the pigments that give flowers their colors. The central vacuole also contains plant wastes that taste bitter to certain insects, thus discouraging the insects from feasting on the plant.
This may be stating the obvious but he majority of people know plant cells make up plants and animal cells make up animals. Both plants and animals are considered eukaryotes. The defining feature of eukaryotic cells are the presence of a true-nuclei. There are other features that all eukaryotes share; such as membrane-bound organelles, multi-cellularity, helper proteins called histones, and rather large ribosomes (another organelle). I am not saying that other non-prokaryotic cells do not share some of these traits, besides nuclei, because that is definitely not the case. That is another story though :) So both animalia and plantae possess nuclei, multi-cellularity, membrane- bound organelles, etc. However, the organelles that distinguish plant cell from animal cell would be rigid cell walls, chloroplasts, and central vacuoles. I am a bio major and currently taking a botany class. It is introductory but I think I can say I am 99.9% positive. Hope it helps!
No,it is not the only organelle. Many other organelles have double membranes. Ex: Chloroplast, lysosoem, vacuole etc
Prokaryotic Cells (bacteria cells) do not have a nucleus or other organelles.

Plant cells overcome the issue of smaller surface-to-volume ratios with the help of the central vacuole. The vacuole pushes the organelles and other cellular materials toward the outer edges of the cell
Vacuoles can be found in all plant and fungal cells and some protist, animal and bacterial cells.
Organelles called vacuoles are used by the cell to store food, water and waste products. Vacuoles in animal cells are smaller than those in plant cells.
how does a vocuole work.
In both plant and animal cells, the vacuole stores materials like food, water, and enzymes for metabolism. The plant cell also contains a central vacuole, which stores all of the above but also waste and other materials. The central vacuole is much larger than a regular vacuole but still abides by the same funciton.
Most mature plant cells have a large, central vacuole; other than that, most cells contain only small vacuoles. In plants, immature cells, such as developing cells in the meristem, do not have large, central vacuoles. Also, the vacuoles in cells of the vascular cambium fluctuate in both size and number, depending on the season.
Yes, organelles are bodies within the cytoplasm that serve to physically separate the various metabolic reactions that occur within cells. The lysosome separates itself from other processes and performs the break down of food, cellular debris, and foreign invaders such as bacteria using digestive enzymes.
The Cell Wall and the Chloroplasts.
vacuole
Nucleus , cytoplasm , food vacuole , contractile vacuole ,pseudopodia , plasma membrane and other eukaryotic organelles .
its big but not that big compared to the nucleus
