What parts are needed to replace the whole front bumper assembly of a 1995 Tahoe?
For my questions of this nature I refer to the LMC Truck Catalog. You can see one online at LMCtruck.com, and you can order a FREE hard copy while you are there... It is as I mentioned a catalog (for almost every part you could want) but it gives exploded views of most of the parts, especially body parts so you can use it for some reference as well.
How do you replace the light bulb that shines light onto the license plate on the rear bumper of a 1995 Chevy Tahoe?
First open the hood and locate the 5mm studs in front of the headlight you wish to replace. Remove the studs and gently pull out the headlight assembly. Remove the headlight assembly by twisting the connectors counter-clockwise. Remove the old bulbs from the assembly and replace with the new bulbs. Reconnect the assembly by attaching the connectors and twisting clockwise. Reinsert the assembly and and attach with the 5mm studs. Close the hood.
How do you replace the corner lights on a 95 Chevy Tahoe They are suppose to pop out but mine will not?
Open the hood and look for the upside down "l" shaped rods over the headlamp assembly. Lift each one up and out and remove the assembly. Once done reach down and push and twist the bulb out from the back of the running light assemble underneath where the headlamp assembly was. Replace bulb and reverse the process.
I found on my 2006 the lock assembly in the rear needed lubrication in the button that opens the rear hatch window. I sprayed wd-40 lube into the button assembly and worked it. After liberally lubing it, the lock worked fine. It gets wet and seizes over time. You need to remove the inner panel to get to it.
