try to change the ignition coil.
have you replaced and or tested both coils? are you getting no spark on the intake and the exaust sides?
Check all of your fuses both in the fuse box in the van and under the hood.
if it cranks but wont start it may be the coil if it doesnt crank check the battery , cables and wires then if no check the starter try squeezing some gas through were the injectors /carb shoot the gas if it starts its your fuel pump well what happend till it didnt start?
Try replacing the ignition module. It is located in the distributor. This is what gives the PCM the reference to turn on the fuel pump, fire spark, etc.
Stupidity hurts. Learn to do some diagnosis or take it to a mechanic.
could be the magnetic pick-up in your distributor, I replaced mine and it solved the problem.
no.... check the fuel injectors, and the distributor set (or coil packs)
try the distributor module . may not be getting fire.
its not your ignition its your crankshaft sensor that's the same problem i had.
try a new ignition coil
replace module, rotor button and dist. cap
I had same problem. Take apart the distributor and there is a coil or component that looks like one of those portable batteries for hand tools. Its beneath the rotor assemble which all unscrews. Its towatd the bottom of distributor. I replaced coil package? if that was the correct name for $20.00 used and it started right up.
I would replace the ignetion module that is in the distributor.
If the engine cranks and fails to start them problem is most likely cracked distributor cap. When you do get it running, dim lights and lightly spray water on the cap. This should tell you if that is the problem.
It is the ECC relay! It is the ECC relay!
check to see if battery is connected correctly. and correctly is positive cable to positive terminal
Bad coil? Bad distributor rotor? Bad ignition pickup? Bad distributor cap?
