They are Metric bolts, 12 or 13 millimeter I think.
The thermostat is located in the housing that the top radiator hose connects to, the bolts holding it on to the engine are metric.

located on the intake manifold just follow the upper radiator hose to the engine should be 2 bolts holding the thermostat housing down.
chevy blazer fan bolts are a 13 mm bolt. There will be 4 of them
follow the large hose into the motor where the hose meets the motor is the thermostat remove to 2 bolts carefully they get hot and cold alot so there easy to break
remove the thermostat housing bolts 13mm or 14mm (it is atacched to your upper radiator hose) and remove thermostat clean intake surface and housing replace with a new a gasket anf you are done
follow top radiater hose to it, there should be two bolts on thermostat housing. take the bolts out, make sure engine is cold. you will lose some coolant but add to it if you have to.make sure you put thermostat in the right way, when changing thermostat replace gasket also!!
Follow the upper radiator hose from the radiator to the engine. It will lead you to the thermostat housing. Drain coolant from radiator, remove upper radiator hose from engine, remove the two bolts holding the thermostat housing to engine, remove housing, remove thermostat.
