Sometimes with some windows you can pull up on the glass and it will raise a quarter of an inch. Hit the button and the motor will run that much. Do this again until the window is up. If that doesn't work, you can take the door panel off and take the window loose from the regulator. There should be two bolts holding the window to the regulator. Slide the glass up and block it up or tape it.

No. In fact, the wires from the rear if connected to the front will fix a 250 problem!
Remove the window regulator and motor from the door as an assembly. Drill out rivets that hold motor to regulator and replace motor. Regulator needs to be riveted back into door for reassembly
Well, if you haven't already tried the major parts houses, that's a good place to begin your search. If you have no luck there, a junkyard is a good prospect too. Remember that the Sunfire is very similar to the Cavalier. Parts might interchange. You might mention this to the folks at the parts houses.
