There is a small plastic filter housing just to the right of the intake manifold. A 32mm low profile socket is needed to remove the top. It is very simple to remove a Chevy Express grill. All you will need is a Philips head screwdriver and a 7mm socket. When you pop the hood, you will see a screw on the top far left and right of the grill. Simply remove with the 7mm socket. Then take the Philips screwdriver and remove the 2 yellow reflectors. you will then see 2 more screws you need to remove. Once you have removed all 4 screws, the 2 yellow reflectors, you will be able to just have the grill just pop off. Simple as that!
