I used Pioneer (ts-163p) 6 1/2 inch speekers in my F 150. the only thing i had to really worry about was if the cone on the speeker would touch the platic door pannel. hope this helps a bit.
They are 6x8 in the doors.
4 inch speakers. mayrequire modified fit. use www.crutchfield.com.
OEM. ? Jensing. ?What would it matter,New 45W 2.5" Tweets are 20$Run 4 off a standard deck.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REPLACE THOSE SPEAKERS!!! What you have in the back are 4x6 inch speakers, and no 6x9 will not fit. The panels in the back where the speakers are are very very very fragile. Basically there is no way you can replace the without breaking the majority of the tabs or the panel itself. That is one part of that car that cannot be messed with unless you have some replacement panels. I assure you, you will break them. Even if you try to get it done professionaly, i havent seen any installers that will touch them unless you got replacement panels. You dont need to replace them anyway, just get a good set in the front. Its not worth it to dive into that. I was wondering that myself. I went to a local electronics shop, and they have the speakers in the back listed as 4x6.. there would be room for 6x9 but some modding would have to be done. Hope that helps
The speakers that fit in a 2003 Celica would likely be speakers that are 4 inches. This is the size for the front, and you will have 6.5 inch speakers in the rear.?æ
According to http://www.installdr.com/Harnesses/GM-Wiring.pdf the connector for the rear speakers is separate from the front speakers. If the connector for the rear speakers is loose or disconnected, the rear speakers would not work while the front ones will. The amp in the head unit (dashboard radio) powers the front door speakers. The rear door speakers and roof (pillar) speakers in the rear are powered by a second amp under the drivers seat. Either this amp is bad or is not hooked up.
If you have a 4-channel stereo installed, then there is a point. The door speakers would be front, left & right channels, the parcel shelf speakers would be rear, left & right.
It could be a combination of wires and the amp, but I would start with the amp.
If both front speakers are not working, then either the fade control is set to rear speakers only, or the front speaker plug has fallen out - very unlikely. Check the fade control, first. Or, I suppose a particularly loud blast of music could blow both speakers at once . . .
That would make a total of 20 speakers. Sony sells no such system, nor do they sell an amplifier that can connect that many speakers.
If someone could answer this it would of great help!!
For a 5 channel set up, I would recommend putting two speakers in the back and two speakers in the front. Then place the subwoofer anywhere in the room.
