∙ 11y agoIt depends on how you define "largest" - if you mean overall numbers, it's PROBABLY California, but only by a little bit. If you mean "as a percentage of its total population", it's probably Florida. Both those states have a very large number of 'retirees', and it would depend on who you believe when they publicize their numbers. And remember, too, not everyone over the age of 65 is a 'retiree' either, so that can make the numbers change around, too.
