I know you will need a pickle fork or ball joint separator for the joints, other than that i think it just unbolts so sockets and wrenches
take it to the dealership, a nissan sentra takes atf fluid you can only buy at the dealership. For how much the fluid and tools for it cost it will be about the same price for them to do it
You will need a general screwdriver, a spark plug socket, a socket wrench and and extender, a wire brush and a silicone dielectric compound. You should find more of these tools at SEARS or your favorite car parts dealer. You will need a spark plug wrench with an extension to replace the spark plugs in a 1998 Nissan Sentra. You can find an instructional video at www.youtube.com.
It requires some expensive special tools and specialized knowlage to repair a rack and pinion steering gear, it is easier and less costly to replace the rack and pinion with a remanufactured unit than to purchase the special tools to repair a rack and pinion steering gear
To replace a water pump on a Nissan Primera one must obtain the proper parts, the proper tools, and the instructions made to fit the model of the machine.

The shim between the inner bearing and the pinion is critical and if it's lost you need special tools to set the pinion depth. replace the bearings and seal with an new crush sleeve thighten the pinion nut until the sleeve crushes and you can't move the pinion up and down. Then very slowly tighten the pinion nut checking the rotational torque. You will need an inch pound torque wrench, when the preload is correct it should take between 20-25 inch pounds of torque to rotate the pinion. If you get it too tight you need to replace the crush sleeve and start over. Proper bearing preload and gear mesh are critical.
Rack and Pinion steering is the most modern type of steering in new vehicles. A "rack" and a "pinion" are two tools in which help the vehicle to turn easier. When you turn the steering wheel in your car, the pinion's gear spins along the rack, allowing your vehicle to turn.
No its not. It is diffcult even with proper tools.
If you have to ask that question you shouldn't do it yourself as removing a cylinder head is not for the inexperienced. if you do decide to do it yourself make sure you have all the proper tools, and a repair manual, you'll need a full range of metric tools including a torque wrench. follow the manual for the rest of the instructions. Replacing the head gasket on any vehicle is a long and complicated process, however if you wish to see basic step-by-step instructions go to the related question on the right side of the page "How do you replace a head gasket?"
it's best to get a shop to do it....unless you have all the specialty tools to do the job...if it isn't set up right....it'll be torn up in 6 months or less
