w58 tranny
Due to the computer system on the 95 truck, the 4L60E is the ONLY transmission that can be installed in that year. There are other transmissions that will bolt up but the engine will not run right and the transmissions will NOT shift.
any Buick, olds or Pontiac turbo 350, turbo 400 or any overdrive tranny should bolt up to your engine.
Yes, there are 350 turbo transmissions that will bolt up to a 4x4.
All Chevy transmission will bolt right to it up to the year 1999. After that year Chevy REDESIGNED the engines and transmissions.
In short, the answer is "No." The longer version is that while they will bolt up, the transmissions for the V6 are made with different ratios than the transmissions for the 4-cylinders. The computers for the engines are programmed for the "right" transmissions, and I seriously doubt the driveability would be acceptable.
No it will not even BOLT UP to the 20OO year engine block. Chevy redesigned the transmissions and engine blocks in late 1999. Will not interchange.
Only if the transmission has a dual bolt pattern. Chevrolet and Buick 350 engines have the same bolt pattern. Oldsmobile and Pontiac 350 engines have the same bolt pattern. There were some TH 350 transmissions that have dual bolt patterns.
Yes and no sometimes you know the answer, but sometimes you don't know the answer.NEW ANSWER: No you can not. It won't even bolt up to the engine block. In late month of 1999 CHEVY redesigned the engine and transmissions and NOTHING below 99 will bolt up to anything above 99. You will need 1 from the year of late 99 to 2007.
It should work. I know it will bolt up...the 3.4 and 3.1 are the same engine externally. I'm just not certain if the transmissions use the same programming. I would imagine they do, especially as close in years as they are.
Yes, if it is the F series engine it will bolt right up. H and F series transmissions are interchangeable.
yes. It will bolt right on with no modification at all. Both use the exact same bellhousings and transmissions.
they are called witness marks. Line them up together when assembling the pump
