Typicaly, If it is an over-drive it will be a TH700-R4. if it is a 3 speed auto then a TH350.
It should be a TH700-R4
Type your answer here... NO. The 95 MUST have the 4L60E transmission put BACK in it if it is a 1/2 ton. If it is a 3/4 ton then it MUST have the 4L80E trans. put in it. If you put the 91 transmission in it then the engine will not run right and the transmission won't shift.
A 4L60E would not fit on a 91 Silverado because of the different dimensions.
Factory put 700R4 transmissions in that year 1/2 tons.
4-speed transmission
were is the vocuum hose at on a 91 ford ranger at on 91 ford ranger xlt 4x4 4.0
that would be a 700 r4. realistically any small block chev transmission will work the 4.3 is a 5.7 with the front 2 cylinders cut off but the 700 r4 is what you need and only a 4x4 one will work.
NO IT WILL NOT. You MUST put the 4L60E back in it due to the computer system. Are you will have all kinds of problems.
well there is a very scientific way of configuring it and is very simple i just dont know. (\_/) ('.' ) bunnies.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Remove the dipstick from the automatic transmission dipstick tube and read it. It will tell you what type of ATF to use.
