Laurasia and Gondwanaland collided to form a single supercontinent called Pangaea from the late Carboniferous Period, through the Permian Period of the Paleozoic era. Glacial deposits show that South America, South Africa, Antarctica, Australia, and India were close together near the south polar region at the middle of the Permian Period.
Pangaea was formed in the Late Permian and broke up in the Triassic Era.
Pangaea was the great, single landmass that existed on Earth before the dividing of the continents. In Biblical terms, this was though to exist before the Great Flood. In scientific terms, this was the landmass that existed before plate tectonics broke apart North America and South America from Europe, Africa, and Asia.
Pangaea what is known as the supercontinent, which was all of the Earth's land pretty much combined. It existed up until the end of the Mesozoic Era so about 65 million years ago.
pangaea is the supercontinent that existed millions of years ago, when all the continents were together in one large. supercontinent. Pangaea ultima is the supercontinent that is predicted to form in the next 250 million years. So to be simple, pangaea already happened and pangaea ultima is predicted to happen. :)
Pangaea is true because the continents are like a puzzle if you solve it right you get Pangaea
it may be pangaea
pangaea was all the continents together as one.on the other hand, the present continents were separated, unlike pangaea.
Alfred Wegener named his single land mass the Urkontinent or Pangaa. This has passed into general use as Pangaea.
They did not form Pangaea. Pangaea came first and then broke into two pieces: Laurasia and Godwanaland!

They weren't called anything. When Pangaea existed there were no people around to form countries or name anything.
pangaea is a large landmass or supercontinent from ling ago.Pangaea may form whole once again, but unfortunately not in our lifetime.ALfred Wegener presented his theory on continental drift, and called the landmass pangaea which is also a greek termpangaea is a large landmass or supercontinent
Pangea formed in the carboniferous period
I think Pangaea was the name of the 'supercontinent' that existed billions of years ago that eventually split up to form the continents that exist today.
Abraham Ortelius felt that at one time the continents all fit together to form one continent he called Pangaea.
Exotic terrains.
Five hundred million years ago, Pangaea was put together. During the centuries, Pangaea was connected numerous changes above and below the land. Soon after Pangaea, the plates under it touched then started moving away the other plates. Pangaea was a landmass that included all of the present day continents and was on this Earth for many, many millenniums.
It is possible that Pangaea might happen again in around 250 million years from now and is planned to be called Pangaea Ultima, but no one knows for sure yet. It is only a possible future supercontinent.
A Pangaea plate is a Pangaea plate
The noun 'Pangaea' is a proper noun; the name of the hypothetical supercontinent that broke apart to form the continents we know today; the name of a specific place.
