What are some related evidence to the background circumstances of the German invasion of Poland?

Hitler wanted Danzig, which would give him access to the Baltic Sea through Poland. Hitler wanted to build a rail system through Poland into Germany, but Poland refused. Upon Polish refusal, Hitler looked toward Russia for an alliance because if Germany invaded Poland, Hitler did not want a two front war. On August 23, 1939 the Nazi-Soviet Pact was signed which was a complete shock to everyone. No one thought Hitler who was anti-Communist would forge and alliance with Communist Russia. The Nazi-Soviet Pact was essentially a non-aggression pact between the two countries.

What did Hitler favor at first as the solution to the Jewish problem and why did it fail to satisfy Hitler's demands?

Hitler at first wanted to have all the Jews in German territory deported, with the island of Madagascar being the choice Hitler wanted, but this proved to be unrealistic, therefore Hitler and the Nazis had to resort to other measures to get rid of the Jews. Hitler also wanted to create the "perfect race" which was a pretty bad idea considering everyone has their flaws and no-one is perfect.

Hitler wanted Italy as his alliance to gain his forces, resources and cooperation. The Allies wanted them because it would have been one more country to not need defeating and would have given them more forces to have as fighters against the Nazis. To the surprise of the US, British and Canadian forces they found out the Italians had been waiting for them to come. Many Italians sabotaged the Germans efforts, even little kids. They celebrated royally once they were freed of Benito Mussolini and the Nazis.
