If you had a shop do the work take it back to them. They screwed up and they need to fix it. Other wise if you did it yourself check over all your work. Make sure you reconnected the Hydraulic line to the slave and make sure it's bled. That's about all i can think of right now. I just replaced my clutch assembly last week and was fortunate not to have the same problem. My truck is a 97 ranger 4wd.

The clutch parts that wear out would be the clutch master cylinder and the clutch slave cylinder. Replacing the clutch master cylinder requires disconnecting the hydraulic line, unbolting and removing the master from the vehicle, bench bleeding the new master, install the new master then bleeding the system. The hydraulic clutch reservoir is attached to the firewall. The hydraulic clutch slave cylinder is in front of the transmission. The transmission would have to be dropped to gain access to the slave cylinder.
