If the toilet does not have to be taken up then its cheap normally $175 if the toilet has to be removed then $400 +
Unless it's a really unusual set-up it only takes about an hour. -Most plumbers will charge 4 hours in my area. -A good handyman will do it for one or two hours and less rate.
Most plumbers would charge 2 hours to replace a complete toilet.
Sunny Plumber - Fix Toilet
depending on your area, $80.00 on up.
Usually that would be 1 or 2 hours.
Refill valve is a very important component in your toilet since it fills the tank of the toilet after every flush. This valve uses a float to turn the water on and off. This is a plumber related work, only a professional plumber can repair it. alliedallcityinc.com
Hire a plumber! or you could replace the seal inside
People generally charge extra when more work is involved. This is a good case - is it easier to remove and replace the toilet and lay the tiles intact than it is to leave the toilet in place and try to cut the tiles to fit around it? Having recently tiled by own bathroom floor, it was easier to remove the toilet and lay the 'whole' tiles and then to replace the toilet when the cement and grout had dried. (Then I ran some sealant around the join to prevent dirt catching, and to make cleaning the floor eaiser.)
A plumber, or DIY homeowner with basic skills.
Consult a plumber.
should'nt take more than 1 hr if you do all the cracking and digging. handyman will probably charge 50 to hundred bucks. licensed plumber probably 100 to 175 bucks.
Depends on whether you already purchased it and whether other parts are needed. If you have the toilet, a Kant leak, a wax seal,FLEXIBLE toilet supply, and the (nuts, bolts and washers) for screwing the toilet to the floor flange, plumber should not charge more than one hour of his rate to install it. Make sure the plumber does NOT silicone around the toilet. If there is a leak from the wax seal under the toilet and it is siliconed, the water stays under the toilet and rots the floor, if you are on a wood floor.
Remove the toilet from the floor, locate the broken tip, and replace the toilet. Don't forget the new wax ring.
