On my 2wd '88 Toyota Pickup, I put a 4-in. lift kit with 31 inch tires. The large tires strained the bushings used to align the wheels until they popped off the 'bolt'. They just fit in like a horseshoe, and when they come out, the bolt will start backing out and your arm will fall off. I'd take it to get it aligned and they'll put them back in.
If it pops when turning it is most likely the CV joints.
Could be a wheel bearing
Could be a bad CV joint. It would make a popping noise.
This indicates that the CV joint it going bad. You'll need to replace it. Most of the time you have to change the entire half shaft.
could be the CV jopints of the car
A leaking manifold seal on the intake will cause a popping noise on the 1996 Honda Accord. This can heard most clearly on days when the weather is cold because the seals tend to shrink.
loose or bad u joints.
A single knocking noise when braking or turning can be caused by a faulty axle. The cost of replacement is usually around 1,000 dollars.
You probably need your bearings repacked
Check the level of the power steering fluid. A low level or no level of fluid will cause the groaning noise.
