To remove the cable you will need to unhook the e-brake assembly and seperate the speedometer cable from the e-brake at the firewall by the gas pedal. On end goes to rear of the instrument cluster and the other end attaches to a small gear at the rear of the transmission. The instrument cluster will need to be removed.
