Israelites and Jews have been in the Palestine region continuously for over 3000 years. However, if the question is referring to the immigrations of Jews preceding the establishment of the Modern State of Israel, those increased in the late 1800s to a small trickle and became more substantial in the 1920s and 1930s. There have also been massive immigrations to Israel from 1948-1955 (primarily from the Arab World. but also from former Holocaust Europe) and the 1990s (primarily from the former Soviet Union).

Did Anti-Semitism in the Middle East exist before Zionism?

Yes. This is actually quite demonstrable.Zionism as a philosophy did not even begin until the 1880s and Altneuland (Herzl's foundational book) was not published until 1902. However, we have Anti-Semitism in Ottoman Palestine prior to this. In 1517, when the Ottomans first invaded the region of Palestine, there were pogroms against the Jewish community there. In 1833, there was a war between the Ottomans and the Egyptian Khedivites over control of Ottoman Palestine. In the following year, Arabs in the cities of Safed and Hebron blamed the Jewish communities there for the outcome of that war (which was completely unjustified since Jews were banned from owning weapons or joining the military) and proceeded to massacre them. These massacres are known as the 1834 Safed Pogrom and the 1834 Hebron Massacre. In 1840, the murder of a Damascus Christian priest was falsely blamed on the Jews in the biggest blood libel since Jesus Christ. This resulted in violence against the Jewish community for nearly a year in uncoordinated outbursts. This is all aside from the fact that Jews were second-class citizens under the Muslims and had the requirement to identify themselves with yellow turbans, live only in certain areas, being barred from certain professions, etc.

In what year did the Jews leave for Palestine?

There is no exact year that Jews started going to Israel/Palestine when they had not been migrating before. Migration picked up immensely in 1919 because Jews finally had legal permission to migrate to Palestine, but migration has waxed and waned since that point and existed before that point.

How were the Hebrews able to establish themselves in Palestine?

If this is referring to history in general, the region of Palestine was the historic Jewish homeland. It would be like asking: How did the Bushmen get to Namibia? -- It's where they come from and where they've lived for many centuries. If this is specifically referring to the Return of Jews in large numbers to the region of Palestine in the last century, it should be noted that there was a relatively large Jewish minority already present in the region prior to the Jewish immigration from elsewhere. Those Jews who did arrive immigrated through normal procedures until Israel declared independence. Jewish immigration substantially rose from 1948-1955, especially from the Arab countries which had forcibly expelled their Jewish populations. They came primarily by boats and planes.
