Wheel grinding noise?

if u put wider aftermarket tires on then the tires are rubbing on the fender wheel well if you are refering to in/at the actual steering wheel, then some grinding noise is normal. it's possible the electrical contacts for airbag/cruise/radio controls, whatever you have on the steering wheel are making some grinding noise.

Answer There are a couple of things... If it happens when you are turning and the sound gets louder then it is your CV Joint that needs to be replaced. If the grinding noise is only when you break then it is your break pads and they need to be replaced. If it is just when you drive and is pretty loud then it is your wheel bearings.
