Absolutely not, this being said however, the sentences being handed out for some horrendous offences are laughable, when some one has committed an act of premeditated murder, the sentence should be life not life with a chance of parole after serving 15 years in some cases, then these individuals are free to commit again. As far as capital punishment goes, a death sentence is no deterrent against the crime, just harsher long time jail sentences would be better.
