The Japanese launch code was "Tora Tora Tora" Tora translates into "tiger" in English.
You have some serious reading to do. Pearl Harbor did not attack Japan. The US Naval Base at Pearl Harbor HI was attacked by the Japanese on Dec 7, 1941. The American ships were tied up at their morring points in the harbor, and there had been no declaration of war. This was an unprovoked attack by Japan on the United States.
Chuichi Nagumo was the Japanese commander of the Pearl Harbor strike force. He played a significant role in the attack. Nagumo, however, refused to launch additional air attacks on dockyard and fuel tanks on Oahu or to seek out two US aircraft carriers at sea. He was never comfortable with the plan to attack the Pearl Harbor and limited his risks.
"Niitaka yama nobore" which means 'Climb mount Niitaka' was the code used to signal the launch of the attack on Pearl Harbour.
Pearl Harbor Hawaii was thousands of miles closer to Asia than the 48 states. It had a shallow harbor (which was wrongly thought to be too shallow for airdropped torpedoes. It was far away from any enemy held islands for land based planes to reach, and thought to be safe from enemy attack. There were submarine nets to prevent enemy submarines from sneaking in. There was a large Army base there as well to protect the Naval ships. In the 1920s, Gen. Billy Mitchell predicted that the Japanese would attack Pearl Harbor, (he did not say when of course), but, by December 1941, most people had forgotten about his warnings, and they did not think that the Japan could launch an air attack on Pearl Harbor with carrier planes (and torpedoes that could work in shallow water), the way the British Navy had used carrier planes to attack the Italian fleet at Taruento, Italy.
The Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor on December 7, late in autumn.

There were many acts of heroism in the defense of Pearl Harbor. Several aircraft managed to launch and attack the flights of aircraft. Some anti-aircraft batteries were also able to get manned and were able to shoot down some of the Japanese.
Aircraft with bombs, torpedos and guns. There were also some small submarines that were to attack with torpedos.Kate torpedo bombers, Val dive bombers, and Zero fighters. The Navy used the Aircraft Carriers to launch the airplanes and 2-man submarines to sneak the the anti-sub nets and launch torpedoes. The most important weapon was the torpedeo. The American's torpedoes were not that reliable and they could not be dropped from an airplane except in deep water. The Japanese designed a way to drop the torpedoes in the shallow harbor.

Although, technically the Malayan campaign may have occurred a day after Pearl Harbor; the invasion forces (Ships, Planes, tanks, troops, etc.) were in position to launch the attack at the same time as the Pearl Harbor attack took place.
