The very first two things to check are your radiator fluid and your oil. Those are the ones that need to be added most frequently. Then check your brake fluid, Transmission Fluid in automatic transmissions following owner's manual directions, and power steering fluid if you have Power Steering. Be careful not to overfill any of the fluids as it can cause damage to your engine, or to the parts the fluid goes with. Lastly, don't forget the windshield washer reservoir and back window reservoir if your vehicle is equipped with either one. Most vehicles these days use sealed batteries, so you shouldn't ever have to check the level of acid in your battery. If you're worried about your battery, most auto parts stores are equipped to test them and will usually do it for free. If you need a new battery, many auto parts stores will be glad to install the new one they just sold you either at no cost, or for a small fee. Batteries have a "core charge" for the lead in them, so have the parts store keep the old one and refund you the "core charge" for it.

You will want to check all the fluids atleast 2ce a month i do it 1st and 15th, because you never know if anything begins to leak and is runing low always when you pull in or pull out of you parking space or garage check if any fluid on ground then dont want for 1st or 15th and check make sure all fluids are at correct level. Its never going to hurt to check it as often as you can. It will hurt car and your wallet if you dont. Hope this helps :)
