Well I know the water pump is driven by the timing chain. Its location, if you are looking at the engine from the front of the car, will be down on the passenger side rear of the engine compartment. It'll be kinda above the transaxle right where the timing chain is at. I have heard but don't quote me that the chain does not have to be removed to replace the pump, but it is not a simple job. Your best bet would be to go to an auto parts store and get the manual for your vehicle.
