You will need to change the brake light switch. The brake light switch can be found below the dashboard on the drivers side.

Check BRAKE fluid level. Or is it a "tail lamp" warning? Y-THINK-Y
I don't know the Acura as they are not in the UK But it may well have safety device fitted that will not allow you to shift from park unless your foot is on the brake pedal. If this is the case, check that the brake lights are working, if they are not it may indicate a faulty brake light switch.
If an Acura Vigor brake light is not working there are likely two reasons. One is that a fuse is blown and the other is that the bulb is blown. It could be both.
