How do you remove the steering wheel on a 1994 suburban?

Begin by removing the belt from your 1994 Chevy Suburban power steering pump. Remove the power steering pump hose. Remove the power steering pump retaining bolts. The power steering pump will come off.

The shift lock solenoid is located on top of the steering column. You will need to remove the steering column covers, lower dash trim, and the heater duct. Remove the steering column bolts and lower the steering column to access the shift lock solenoid.
On a 93 it is a lever located on the bottom of the steering wheel column. Bang your knees on the bottom of the steering wheel column and you will proabbly hit it.
Short in the wiring with the steering column.

remove column dust covers, along with ignition switch. then remove retaining

No it will not the steering column in a 94 Cherokee only fits the 94 Cherokee. If i remember correctly 88-89 will workin an 89. I own a 94 Cherokee that i have to replace the steerin column in. nate
