Where can you find a new power window relay or even switch the circuit breaker for a 1992 Subaru SVX?

They are the same as the EJ22 4 cylinder pistons. They can be purchased from numerous aftermarket resellers if you want forged pistons. Cast pistons would be from the dealer, if even still available.

Power Window Circuit BreakerI have a '83 280ZX and am also having power window problems. I was told by our local Nissan dealer service center, there is no fuse or circuit breaker for the power windows. There is a relay switch in the driver's door. None of my windows will let up or down. The switch cost is around $200. I am not sure about the '83 280zx, however on my '82 280zx there was a circuit breaker located in the passenger kick panel. You should see two screws above the fuse box which will remove a black unit that has the circuit breaker bolted onto it.(Just to verify) I also have a '83 280zx and yes thecircuit breaker is also located on the passenger kick.

You would diagnose the problem to determine what the cause is. Assuming this is a power window, it could be the electric motor, the switch, the wiring, the circuit breaker, the relays, the window track, the window regulator and so on.

I am not going to swear to this but I belive it has a breaker which resets after the excessive load is no longer on the circuit.Power window fuses are not common for vehicles the breaker is the typical setup

After much searching it was found under the drivers seat. Under the carpet just under the right rail/foot of the driver seat. Under here is the power window circuit breaker and relay as well as the automatic seat control (if your car has one)

For a 2002 Ford Explorer, the 30 amp circuit breaker in location #62 of the power distribution box in the engine compartment is the power window circuit breaker. (unfortunately in the 2002 owner's manuals it is labelled accessory delay ) later years are labelled as the power window circuit breaker.

The most likely problem is that the breaker has tripped. On some breakers there is a indication window that shows a red flag if the breaker needs resetting. On other breakers there is no indication but a slight misalignment of the breaker handle as compared to the other ones. On the distribution panel find the breaker number of the circuit that is off from the panel index. Push the breaker handle to the furthest off position that you can. As the handle is moved to the off position you will feel a bit of resistance. Push past it as that is the breaker resetting. Return the breaker to the on position to see if the circuit has re-energized. The only other reason is that a wire has become disconnected in the circuit. If you have been doing any electrical work on the circuit start looking in that area. To troubleshoot these types of problems it will require the use of a volt meter to check to see if the circuit is "hot" from the breaker out. Then it is just a matter of finding where the voltage stops and locate the problem.

The drivers window switch on the master switch energizes a solenoid for the express down feature of the drivers window. The solenoid deenergizes when the window bottoms out causing the thermal overload in the window motor to open. A spring in the solenoid is supposed to break the open circuit and provide power to the close circuit when deenergized. Sometimes the spring gets weak or the solenoid plunger is sticky preventing powering the close circuit. Removing the door panel and diaassembling the master switch is not a DIY. I have had success banging on the arm rest adjacent to the master switch to get the spring to make the close circuit. My guess is the rear window switch gets its power from the same movable contact as the drivers window switch.

if the the motor is good you need to check the circuit breaker because the circuit breaker might be the problem. window doesnt go bad my dude the motor goes bad check it again
