How do you find out how much transmission fluid is needed to fill a 2000 Dodge Neon?

4 quarts My understanding is for an 2000-2003 Automatic transaxle Neon it is 4.0 Quarts (3.8 Liters), for an 2000 Manual Transaxle Neon it is 2.0 to 2.3 Quarts (1.9 to 2.2 Liters), and for 2001-2003 Manual Transaxle Neon it is 2.5 to 2.8 Quarts (2.4 to 2.7 Liters).

How you put a transmission together of a Chevy Celebrity?

I would suggest you take the transaxle to a shop and let a professional do the job for you. They have the knowledge and the special tools to do the job correctly. If you must do it yourself the Factory Service Manual shows pictorial breakdowns of the parts and gives instructions on how to service them along with special tools needed. It is much too long a procedure to try to give a usable description in this space.

Where is the transmission located on a 1990 Mazda 323 and how do you change?

Regardless of whether it's a manual or autoamtic, the transaxle (transmission plus final drive) is located on the left side (as you look forward) of the engine. Unless you have the right tools including an engine hoist or transmission jack, jack stands, and floor jack, it's not a job you want to take on. I assume you are replacing the transaxle with a rebuld or new unit. Plan a whole weekend to do this job. Disconnect the battery, speedometer cable, clutch cable, gear selectro linkage reverse/neutral switch wiring, jack up car, support on stands, remove road wheels, drop the lower control arm bolts, remove the half-shaft nuts, remove the half-shafts (make certain you have a drain pan under the transaxle); remove the starter motor, support the engine, remove the bolts holding the transaxle to the engine, support the transaxle with a floor jack, remove the four bolts that attach the cross-member to the body, pull the transaxle away from the engine and lower the transaxle/crossmember assembly on the floor jack. Dettach the crossmemebr from the transaxle. When reassembling, make certain all componets, wiring etc are clean; if manual transaxle inspect clutch & flywheel replace if needed, re-surface flywheel if needed. Once reassembled, fill transaxle with new fluid per manufacturer's recommedation; retorque all bolts per shop manual. Good luck Malcolm

What type and how much transmission fluid is needed for a 1993 six cylinder manual transmission Chevy cavalier?

It uses a fluid called synchromesh. You can buy it at the dealer or most parts stores carry it. The only brand I've seen in a part store is made by Pennzoil. It takes 2 quarts if completely empty.
