Check the fluid level when the vehicle is at normal hot running temperature, idling in PARK. Don't overfill! It will only take about a pint (half a quart) of fluid to raise the level from "ADD" to "FULL". Add a bit at a time and recheck the level. Overfilling can cause foaming and loss of fluid.
