The 2000 Lincoln LS has the most common windshield wiper arm attachments: U-Hook. Pull/Move the arm away from the glass and lock it into the up position. Normally with this attachment, you will see a little tab on the piece that is inserted into the hook end of the arm. Depress that tab, and pull the wiper blade assembly down, out of the tab. You may have to rotate and flex the blade a little bit to create the clearance to remove the wiper assembly out of the hook.
Be sure you get the right replacement wiper blades. The 2000 Lincoln LS takes 24" drivers side and 19" passenger side replacement windshield wiper blades. Note however, when buying windshield wiper blades be sure to always look up your vehicle make, model and year in the application guide book at the store, or now-a-days you can Google 'lookup wiper size'.
