the engine oil dipstick is located at the rear of the engine. transmission has a drain plug on it. you can drain the oil from that, then put the bolt back in and undo the fill plug and fill it. 80w90 gear oil or 75w90 gear oil are recommended
A leaking gasket, a leaking filter, or a leaking drain plug....
Remove the transmission oil pan for access
You put the Transmission Fluid in the Transmission (fill point transmission drip stick tube) and the Oil (fill point Oil Cap) in the Engine.Hope This Helps.
Just jack the car up, and take a peak underneith, should notice it right off.
its inside the transmission by the oil pan
Mazda meant the transmission to be filled from a plug in the side of the transmission which is a real pain. Many Mazda owners remove the shifter and just pour it in. There is a second plug on the driver side of the transmission with a square head on it. Remove this plug and fill the transmission until fluid starts to drip from the hole, then it should be full. Make sure you're on level ground of coarse. K6 Mazdatruckin.com
