it is probably in the blower motor, at least that is where it is on the 1995 truck. take out glove blox/ remove black metal cover behind glove box. It is the white connector in plain site..
Bad resistor or a malfunction in the switch.
First locate the resistor, it is under the hood, on the firewall, passenger side, close to the blower motor. Unplug the wire connection and remove the three small screws holding it in place, then remove the resistor.
First locate the resistor, it should be under the hood, on the firewall, passenger side, near the blower motor. Unplug the electrical connection, remove the small screws holding it in place then wiggle the resistor out.
In the truck!
Should be near or attached to the blower motor
no such switch.
The 2005 Ford F1 50 pickup truck blower motor resistor pack can be found on the firewall in the engine compartment. The blower motor resistor pack is on the passenger side of the firewall.
Most likely a failed blower resistor.
Under the hood, passenger side firewall, not far from the blower motor.
Blower motor resistor assembly is located under dash board on passenger side.
blower motor resistor is bad
under the left front tire
Under the hood on the passengers side near the blower motor attached to the housing......... I'm pretty sure that's where the "Relay" is located not "Resistor". The resistor may be located under or behind the glovebox.
The blower resistor assembly is located on the heater case to the right of the bloser motor. - Haynes Repair Manual #36071, 1993-2005 Ford Ranger Pick-ups
Yes, located in the blower motor resistor pack. Follow the wires backward from the blower motor to find it.
if you remove the glove box you will see a metal panel. There are a number of Philips(star like) screws.Take these screws out and remove the metal panel, behind that panel you will find the blower motor resistor its about 2 inches wide by 3 inches high it also has 2 Philips screws fastening it into the plastic heating ducts.good luck
You didn't mention what model you have but if it's a full size pickup the resistor is located on the passenger side just above the foot area next the the blower motor. Two small screws (5.5mm) hold it in place.
take it to a shop and have them do it If it's the same as a pickup, take out the glove box and the resistor should be on top of the heater box. Not much too it.
I think you should look at your fuse panels and see if you have a blown fuse . Some vehicles have a fuse for high and low blower speeds. Your problem is either the blower motor switch itself or a defective Blower Motor Resistor Pack. More than likely the Resistor Pack is defective.
