It goes in the engine compartment, but the coolant that you need is only available from the dealer.
You need G12 coolant it can be purchased online and it mixes half and half with distilled water.
If it is a new beetle you use G12 mixed half and half with distilled water.
It's possible...my 2002 Saturn Vue takes orange antifreeze (Dex-Cool). To be sure, check your owner's manual. I have a 2002 Jetta that uses the orange stuff and they told me when I bought it that I had to use that kind. I don't know why the Beetles would be any different. Whether you "have" to or not I don't know, but I always have. --- NO! your new beetle uses G12 it is purple and it mixes half and half with distilled water.
In the radiator.
You Put The Antifreeze In The Coolant Resivore.. These Escape Don't Have A Radiater Cap..... Hope This Helps
To the left of the engine - in the coolant tank
G12 the red kind
You can not. The two cars are completely different...the New Beetle has the engine at the wrong end. The New Beetle is bigger than the Old.
Check with ford dealer or you can buy antifreeze that mixes w/ any types of antifreeze - but check first or you can cause problems
No, they're completely different.
Heet is the popular gasoline antifreeze, it is mainly comprised of alcohol which mixes with the water that may be found in gas tanks rendering it combustible. It is harmless to your Super Beetle so yes, you can put it in your car.
Antifreeze is in engine compartment on right side between brake fluid and washer fluid reservoir
