Go underneath the car and find the oil panel... there should be a bolt on the panel and just unscrew the bolt.
There is no dip stick you must remove the upper plug by the drain.
The recommended and suggest spark plug gap for a 1999 Honda Passport is .046. That is the recommended gap for most engines of that model.

you have to remove the pan and pour the oil out but once removed you can buy a kit to put a drain plug in it
There are two plugs located underneath the transmission, the lower plug is to drain fluid and the upper plug (just about 1.5" higher than the other) is the fill in plug. To fill in fluid you need a pump or squeeze the fluid into the hole until the fluid overflows, replace the plug. I know this because I've watched the Honda mechanic perform this task. Good luck.
