The year of the vehicle usually helps, but in this case it might not. The engine sits sideways in the car so the front of the engine is facing the passenger side. The sensor should be at the front of the engine on the right side, (front bumper side), at the bottom of the engine, next to the lower drive belt pulley, (crankshaft pulley). Just above the oil pan at the middle of the engine towards the transmission. Unbolt it and inspect it for cracks.

There is a tone wheel on the crank/flywheel that the sensor reads off of, if that is your question.

The sensor is located in between the crank pulley and front cover, just to the lft of the crankshaft. In order to change the sensor, you must, first, remove the crank pulley. With the damper off, unplug the sensor, and pull off the plastic cover. The sensor is mounted with 2 bolts, just to the left of the crankshaft. You'll need a deep 15mm socket.
