To replace the transmission fluid in the 1999 3100 V-6 Olds Cutlass, first remove the transmission drain plug from the underside of the vehicle. Drain all of the old fluid. Then, replace the drain plug and add new fluid through the transmission dipstick holder in the engine compartment.

I put a 1972 350 old's engine in my 1984 cutlass supreme. It had a 307 and the swap went smooth. It bolted rite up to the turbo 350 transmission also. The engines have the same block so the weight difference was no problem. My cutlass is for sale if you know anyone that is interested. Go to any auto parts store and purchase a set of custom fit plug wires for your oldsmobile. Make sure you get custom fit and not the generic. Remove the old plug wires one at a time. Only remove one plug wire at a time or you will get confused. Match the old plug wire with the new one of the same link. Install that plug wire and then move to the next one. Be sure and put a little dielectric grease on the inside of the spark plug boots.
unhook the line from the gas tank and unbolt it from the fuel pump and rip it out, take the old line to the parts store so they can measure it and they will give you enough line to do the job.
