I change mine twice since 1999. It's between the engine and windshields on the passenger side.
In fact, it's under the passenger side wiper. The best way for doing the easiest way is by removing first the 2 wipers and unscrew the 5 screw between the windshield and the wood.
Be sure not too shorten wires if you have trouble installing new resistors. By the way, these resistors are made of plastic and therefore it tends to melt. I myself would still have to replace them for the 3rd time because the position # 3 does not work anymore since 2 years but my wires are too short to make another repair.
It is a remedy which by itself costs about $ 50
