There are 3 drain plugs on the Toyota Tundra V8 engine and radiator. On the radiator petcock, the plastic thumbscrew, and drain valves are on the bottom, driverâ??s side of the radiator.
Drain the radiator
Don't know off hand but you could always pull the lower radiator hose and drain it that way.
lorftion drain plags 3.0 l Ford
It's located below the exhaust manifold.
its on the bottom side of the radiator with a white plug.
There are actually three coolant drain plugs on the 2001 Tundra. Speaking of a 4.7 liter engine, there is one drain plug at the bottom of the driver's side of the radiator. The skid plate/splash shield need to be removed in order to access this. It is a plastic butterfly type and should be easily removed by hand or with the aid of pliers. The other two are located on the driver's side of the engine block. This truck takes over 12 quarts of coolant so these two drain plugs need to be opened in order to completely empty the coolant from the system.
There should not be a coolant drain on the engine block. You are probably looking at a freeze plug which should NOT be removed. The freeze plugs where openings for the original production/casting of the engine block and are sealed.
Remove the lower radiator hose.
my drain is brok and i casn not get it out how can i drain the coolant?
On the bottom right of the radiator there should be a small square piece that is the plug. You twist it out and the coolant will come out.
Let's drain the coolant, fill it with water, and find out!
