It's on top of the throttle body.
no idea i hope i helped
on the side of your throttle body dont confuse your map sensor they look the same
Code 45 on a Honda Civic means the car is not getting proper fuel flow. All the major fuel components should be checked such as the map sensor, oxygen sensor, and fuel pump.
the map sensor is located on top the intake manifold and reads off map sensor just disconnect wire then get a Philips screw driver and take off then replace and put back on
There is no mass air flow sensor on a 98 accord only a map sensor
A 99 civic actually doesn't have a mass air flow sensor. It uses a Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor and the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) instead to determine how much air is entering the engine.
It is located on top of the throttle body. It's the small black plastic sensor on top of the aluminum part of the intake.
The map sensor is located on the passenger side fire wall.
its on the firewall above the intake manifold
On my 98 Honda civic it is located just below the air filter opposite the firewall. It's kind of hard to get to, but not impossible. I had to move a small hose-clamp and use a very short Phillips screwdriver to remove the two screws.
honda's don't use MAF sensors (also known as air flow meters) they rely on manifold absolute pressure to obtain a reading this is called a MAP sensor
