It should be next to the glove box. There should be a small removable insert inside the glove box door on the right. Pull this open, and there will be a fuse box with the blower motor fuses. There's one for the lower settings, and a separate fuse for the "High" setting.
AnswerYou asked where the resistor was not the fuse. The above answer gave the fuse location. The resistor is located under the dash on the passenger side. I believe there are 3 screws holding it on. It's a pain getting up there and getting it out so be patient. Answer 3For pics and a write up on how to replace check out the following website:http://www.oqcgp.com/forum/kb.php?mode=article&k=70

it is probley not the blower switch. if your fan runs on 3,4 and 5 it is your blower motor resister.
The resister for the 2001 prism blower motor drops voltage to the blower motor. This is how the blower motor runs at a lower speed.
The resister is right behind the glove box.
where is blower motor resister located on 2001 GMC Yukon
The resistor is under the passenger dash just left of the blower motor
Usually the blower motor resister has gone bad.
Look at the link I posted, that should help you. (:

Blown fuse, defective blower motor, blower motor resistor pack, or loose wiring.
It will depend on what its doing along with what might be bad......... Check the fuse first... Check to make sure that you have both power and ground going to the blower motor.. It so then the blower resister, blower switch and wire harness.....
