On my 2002 it is mounted in the blower housing that is on the front passenger side above where the foot area is, may have to remove a panel to see it, some wires are plugged into it and two screws hold it in place. When mine failed only the hi speed setting would work.

It is behind the glove box.
under the dash. if you can find the blower motor then it should be right above that
The blower resistor is probably bad, due to a failing blower motor that is drawing too many amps.
The blower motor is failing and will need replaced.
