This seems to be a common Q on these trucks! There are 2 bolts on the inside of the bed, (behind the light assembly), which means you may have to go under your bed liner if you have one. Sort of a pain! The entire assembly will pull out.

The port cover slips out after these screws are removed and the oil filter is visible as soon as the panel cover is off. Good luck! It is quite possible that yours does not have the underside engine cover, many do not. If not, the filter is plainly visible from the underside of the engine on the passenger side closer to the front.
