It is nnear where the heater core pipe enters the block. It is where a distributer would have been before EFI.
I'am not sure about your vehicle, but most have a cable that runs from your speedometer to the transmission. speed is read by a gear that spins the cable. most of the time the cable is simply broken and is pretty easy to replace. if you have a digital speedometer it is usually a simple two wire cord that runs from the side of trasnsmission to speedometer. either way speed is read off the transmission…

before changing the sensor try disconnecting the negative battery cable for a minute then hook back up and see if the light comes on. if it does come on you know it wasnt a bogus code. and there is a real problem. most o2 sensors are set to go off at about 20 to 30 thousand miles. Worked also for my 2001 F150.
