It depends on which engine is in the car but on the 3.1L v6 the cam sensor is located in the top of the block directly behind the Power Steering pump. The top alternator support bar needs to be removed and then the 3 bolt holding the pump need to be removed (through the pully wheel). Then the pump is pulled straight up without removing the fluid lines. The sensor is held in place with 1 bolt.
its located behind the power steering pump...you would have to remove the power steering pump to access it
The crankshaft position sensor for the 1995 Monte Carlo is located on the front of the engine. It is just to the right of where the crankshaft comes out of the engine.
Depends on the engine. On the 3.1 and 3.4 it is located on the front of the engine, up top, but below the power steering reservoir. The connector for the sensor is located behind the alternator. On the 3800 it is located in the front cover above the crank balancer pulley.
where is the crankshaft position sensor on a 2003 monte carlo
on the 3.1, it is under power steering pump. remove pump set aside ,do not remove hoses.once removed sensor is reachable!! there should be one bolt to hold sensor in!!
right behind and below the power steering pump on the block.
The speed sensor on a 1984 Monte Carlo is located on the output shaft. The speed sensor is typically driven by the gear of the vehicle.
It is located in the transmission.
The Vehicle Speed Sensor is located on the transmission.jd
It is located on the transmission.
Under the thermostat
On the throttle body just above the throttle position sensor right where the intake boot hooks up, it has a 4 wire plug.
