At the right rear of the engine under the intake manifold and to the left of the oil filter. You will probably need to go under the car to spot it, it's the sensor with a three-wire connector aranged vertically. But you can take it out from above. It's held in with a single bolt with an eight MM head located just above the sensor. Unclip and remove the electrical connector. Unscrew the bolt with a socket wrench & extension bar. Wiggle and pull the sensor out.
...Since your engine sits sideways, the sensor is on the "left side" of the engine, which is the side that is against the firewall. it's not technically the back of the engine
Do you have a video of the hhr camshaft position sensor
Camshaft position is taken from the distributor, there is no separate sensor.
The camshaft position sensor is located behind the intake manifold, on top of the block. It is difficult to get to, so be patient!
I have a 1998 Metro with the 1.3l and the Camshaft Position Sensor is located on the bottom of the oil pan.
Replacement of a 2008 Chvy Camshaft Sensor
No it does not. It has a distributor no need for a cam sensor.
The camshaft position sensor on a 4.3L engine would be in the distributor.
Where is the camshaft sensor located in 1997 Chevy venture
In the rear of the distributor.
It does not have 1
The camshaft position sensor is a part of the distributer. There are 2 electrical plugs going to it, 1 is for the coil, the other is for the Camshaft sensor.
Onh the front of the engine to the left of oil filter by the starter. This will affect your car and how it runs because this sensor and camshaft sensors are supposed to be synchronized
