if you are sitting in the driver seat in the car it is right behind you in a little compartment by the floor. just twist it open and there it is
Kinda complicated You use the computer Located behind the seat (driver) You can look it up @www.autozone.com...
Bank 2 is the drivers side.
Quote from Chilton book: " The module is located on the firewall just inboard of the master cylinder."
It depends on what you mean by computer. The '88 bronco has an TFI control module mounted on the distributor. It is held on by 2 Phillips screws and should be relatively easy to take off without removing the distributor.
On a 1995 Ford Bronco : The rear gears are INSIDE the rear differential ( pumpkin ) located in the middle between the 2 rear wheels
If it is the same as the ( 1996 ) Ford Bronco : In the Power Distribution Box ( which is " live " ) located in the engine compartment ( Relay # 2 is the fuel pump relay )
now I'm not quite sure about bronco II's but in my 93 bronco the box was located under the driver side of the dash more towards the middle. The box is about 2 x 2 1/2 inches, and has a 7 prong connector I hope this helps
The Bronco 2 was sold between 1984 and 1990. The Ford Bronco 2 was a compact SUV. It was smaller than a full-sized Bronco. It was succeeded by Ford Explorer.
i beleave the inertia switch is located behind the glove box or just below it.. that's where it is located on my 86 and my old 88 bronco II
the bronco needs to have the ground wire connected from the battery to the body. if you replaced the battery and disconnected that ground it simply won't start.
Check the TFI module. It is located on the distributor.
