The flasher unit is behind the fuse panel in the wiring harness. To get to it, open the glove box and unscrew the T-15 Torx internal drive screw from the tether. The glove box door will open far enough to reveal the bottom two 8mm hex head cap screws holding the fuse panel in on the left side of the glove box. Remove all four 8mm hex head cap screws and wiggle the fuse panel out. The flasher I removed was a yellow cylindrical Wagner model with two prongs. Use a straight blade screw drive to gently pry the connector off the flasher unit.
