It is between the torque converter and the front pump of the transmission. The transmission or engine has to be removed to gain access to the front transmission seal.
The front seal on your automatic transmission would be between the torque converter and the front pump of the transmission. The transmission would have to be removed along with the torque converter to replace the seal.
You will have to remove the transmission and pull the toqure converter out of the front of the trans. then you will see a seal in the center of the trans. Remove it with a screw driver, then clean and install new seal it will drive in with a hammer if your good. You may need a seal driver.
There are several seals in that transmission, need to know which one.
You will have to remove the transmission and torque converter from the car to get to the front seal.

look you are going to drain the transmission pan clean up the seal and change the transmission filter and apply fresh transmissionfluid.
Front seal: remove engine or transmission and replace the seal. Rear seal, remove the drive shaft to replace the seal. Unfortunately, you typically only have problems with the front seal.
