To my knowlege the spider fuel injector system came out in the 96 models. 1995 still had the throttle body injection.

The 95 models did not have the spider on them. It was a TBI / Throttle body injection system. If your engine is a vortec, Then no it can't be cleaned.
There was no EGR Valve befor 1994 on Ford Explorers. On the 1995 and later models 5.0l V8 models are equipped with pressure feedback exhaust gas recirculation (PFE) system. It is in the front of the engine to the left of the oil feel tube. guess again. left hand follow tube up from exhaust manifold.
Only models with v6 have such sensor. If you have one of them, you can find the sensor in the hose coming out of the air filter and going to the injector.
ON the SOHC models the Crankshaft position sensor is located on the front of the oil pan, The DOHC is located behind the engine, the transmission and the flywheel must be removed to the sensor on the DOHC models
