its under the passenger side rear tire
I currently own a 91 soch, but this is my second Stealth. My first was a 92 es dohc,,yes they have ECS. I had to replace it in mine.
i had mine buried at 160 and still climbing at 5200 rpm
NO it's not a turbo, it has a 222horsepower DOHC motor.
on the 4G63 it runs off the cam-shaft. otherwise, it is behind the crankshaft pulley, an inductive bell and strobe setup. The previious answer is true, but the 92 Dodge Stealth came with 3 engine options. The Base Model came with a SOHC 6G72, The ES and RT with a DOHC 6G72 and the RT/TT with a Twin Turbo DOHC 6G72. In answer to te question in 92 the crank sensor is run off the camshaft similar to the 4G63. It is located on the intake camshaft, of the rear head on the transmission or rear of the block
???What???
Follow the + battery cable--should be connected to relay
The EGR valve on mine is behing the intake manifold. Comes off the back exhaust manifold. Right behind the inake inlet.
bad coil pack... replace coil pack
Depends. If your going from a DOHC V6 6G72 motor to another it should be a direct bolt on. I dont believe the motor mounts changed from 1g to 2ndg so just make sure that your getting the same motor. - they made them in SOHC, DOHC, and TT. have fun! I did about 4 engine swaps so far. never again! Its the base model with the less powerful SOHC and im going with a DOHC complete with the ecu.
just need a good tune up and again ajust the throttle body rpm screw.
yes as long as the engines of both cars were both the same engine. IE: both were SOHC. Or both were DOHC.
yes it is possible to do it i just got done with one i put the dohc is a 91 dodge stealth mounts are the same u have to change the the wiring harness both of them under the hood and the computers the ac lines power steering resivour and lines it is a little of a pain to do but it is possible u need any more answers about it email me at beaner_in_ky@yahoo.com
